I talked with Ken Sunday afternoon. This is amazing since all of Princeton's phones were down due to a flooded basement in the local Verizon building (water main broke). Most cell phones in our area were also down, but not ours! After many attempts, Ken's call came through on my cell. Thank you, Lord!!
He was doing well and had just talked with Madie the day before. She was doing great and sounds like having fun! Ken should be back with Madie now and will spend the rest of the week with her. They get two 1/2 days to rest and relax.
They will be flying back to JFK, 23 hours straight! Hopefully they will be able to sleep and get caught up with each other. Their flight into Chicago Saturday will be in around 2:15 p.m.
Thank you all so much for your prayers!!! I'll post again when I hear from them and when they get home!
