Madie's heart stayed in Uganda

Ever since last June when Madie felt God leading her to Uganda, her heart has been gone. It has been in Uganda! We've said that when she goes to Uganda, her body will catch up with her heart. Well.......she has left her heart in Uganda. Leaving Africa , Madie rounded the corner of the terminal to following her dad, and she knew she was headed in the wrong direction! She can't wait to go back. She loves the people and the culture.

Just a little info on what Ken and Madie did.......

Ken was sent to the medical clinic six hours away from part of the team who was in the capitol city, Kampala. It was his primary responsibility for that one week was to share Christ to every patient, every day. Seventy (70) people accepted Christ just in that one week. God was working!!! Ken also discipled the believers there and shared the gospel in universities, schools, the hospital, and at the hot springs! That was the first time Ken preached to naked people!

Madie decided to stay in Kampala with the other half of the team. She did a lot of painting at the orphanage and at the mission agency office. She also shared with the girls at the orphange, and she went to the women's prison. She made some great friends while she was away. She's ready to go back.
