Madie (she's on the left) made a trip to New York to see her roommate she had while in Uganda.
She had an awesome time with Aly and her family. They took Madie to Niagra Falls and went into Canada. Being that Madie is still a minor and did not have written parental consent, the border patrol, who was American, didn't want to let Madie back into the states. Thanks to Dean, Aly's dad, who had to pull the mayor/police badge, was able to bring her back home! Thanks Dean!!! Madie officially hates the age of 17!
